Reporting Modern Slavery
The Managing Director has overall responsibility for complying with legal and ethical obligations and for investigating allegations of modern slavery in the Company’s business or supply chains, along with the assistance of the Business Operations Manager.
If a staff member believes or suspects a breach of The Modern Slavery Act 2015 has or may occur, they must notify the Managing Director as soon as possible. We are committed to ensuring no one suffers any detrimental treatment or victimisation because of reporting in good faith their suspicion that modern slavery is or may be taking place in any part of the business or in any of its supply chains.
Phew employs its staff on standard contracts of employment where each is free to terminate in accordance with the agreed terms and laws. The conditions of employment are laid down in the staff handbook.
