New Site Alerts available for Phew website clients
We’re really pleased to introduce a new feature for our Phew website clients, called Site Alerts. This update enhances the way you communicate important information to your website visitors, making it more versatile and user-friendly.
Site Alerts are an upgraded version of the traditional pop-ups. With this feature, you have the flexibility to display either a pop-up or a header banner on your website. These alerts are perfect for advertising courses, sharing news, or highlighting important updates to your stakeholders.
Below is an example of a header banner site alert:
To begin using Site Alerts, simply click on “Site Alerts” and select “Add New” in the admin menu, which will take you to the below screen:
Once you have entered all the required details, click “Publish” on the right-hand side.
Here are some of the key features of Site Alerts:
- Display options: Choose between a pop-up or a header banner.
- Page selection: Display your alert on the homepage, all pages, or specific pages.
- Linking: Add a URL link to direct users to more information.
- Expiry date: Set an expiry date for the alert so it automatically disappears when it’s no longer needed.
Using Site Alerts ensures that important information catches your visitors’ attention through increased visibility. This feature offers versatility by allowing you to customise the display and placement of alerts to suit your needs. Additionally, automation with expiry dates saves time by keeping your site content fresh and relevant.
