New LMS feature: Option to hide free course costs
We’ve recently updated the Phew Learning Management System (LMS) to provide admin users with the ability to further customise their events – the option to hide free course costs.
Acknowledging the importance of user choice and an uncluttered interface, our LMS now offers the option to hide the cost of free courses, streamlining the course selection process and removing any unnecessary distractions.
This new feature is straightforward to implement, below is a handy step-by-step guide:
- Log into your administrator account and navigate to the Site Settings section.
- Scroll down within the Site Settings menu until you find the ‘Hide “Free” Course Cost On Event and eLearning Listing Pages’ option and tick the box next to it.
- Ensure you save your change so that the new setting takes effect.
Having the option to hide free course costs enables delegates to focus solely on relevant course details and admin users the flexibility to decide when and where cost information is revealed, which is especially useful for organisations that offer a mix of free and paid courses.
If your LMS includes courses that require payment, users will still see the associated costs when they proceed to book. This approach doesn’t compromise transparency; rather, it optimises the user journey by simplifying the initial stages of course selection.
