Safeguarding Children 2023 Conference
We enjoyed a fantastic day in London at the Safeguarding Children 2023 conference on Thursday 16th March, where our Managing Director, Matthew Burgess, was joined on stage to present a case study with Sam Smith, Partnership Manager at Hampshire Safeguarding Children Partnership (HSCP).
As users of the Phew Learning Management System (LMS), Sam spoke about the Partnership’s journey with learning through the pandemic and beyond, and how using outcomes has improved practice.
Prior to the pandemic, HSCP were not offering any virtual courses, but it became apparent that running face-to-face training was not going to be feasible as the country went into lockdown. Using the LMS, they were able to quickly adapt to the changing landscape of training by offering a range of eLearning courses and webinars, which resulted in a dramatic increase in course uptake as a much wider range of delegates were able to participate due to not being restricted by travel.
Sam went into detail of how the LMS has allowed them to carry out intelligent work which has meaningful impact, and have instant access to data that’s useful.
You can watch the case study presentation below:
We also took along our exhibition stand for the day, and it was great to have the opportunity to meet with many of the attendees.
Thank you to Sam at HSCP for taking the time to share their case study and to Open Forum Events who organised this informative conference.
